Peter Huntley BSc(Hons) MRICS FAAV

Auctioneer, Land Agent and Company Manager

Peter has been manager and lead auctioneer of Exmoor Farmers since its foundation in 1997 and undertakes a full range of professional tasks including valuation, property management, property sales and environmental management.

Hannah Walters BSc (Hons) Conservation Biology

Environmental advisor and Management

Hannah has recently graduated from Bath Spa University with a degree in Conservation Biology and joined Exmoor Farmers at the beginning of September 2023.

Hannah will be undertaking much of the environmental work and management with existing schemes and new applications for current and future schemes, these will include reviews of Higher Level Stewardship Schemes, current Countryside Stewardship Mid Tier, Higher Tier and Capital Grants together with newer schemes such as the Sustainable Farming Incentive etc.

Hannah will be based full time at the main office at Cutcombe Market, Wheddon Cross.

Hannah comes from a local Exmoor farming background and having just graduated with a degree in Conservation Biology and also having the practical on the ground knowledge, is keen to become fully involved in the agri-environmental sector.

Outside of work and farming, Hannah is an active YFC member having previously been club secretary and currently club treasurer.


Rebecca Hurd
Administration Manager

Rebecca has been with Exmoor Farmers since 2021 and leads the client liason, office adminstration and also deals with promotion and advertising for the Firm, to include IT and website as well as providing assistance for Countryside Stewardship schemes and other property management and administration roles within the Firm. In addition to her position at Exmoor Farmers, Rebecca is currently President of the Devon Cattle Breeders Society, is National Field Service Officer for the Jersey Society; Breed Development Officer for the Bleu du Maine Society; is Livestock Co-Ordinator for Devon County Show and freelance writer for Countrygirl Media as well as farming in her own right.


Linda Perkins
Administration Assistant

Linda joined the Exmoor Farmers team in 2022 and deals with all adminsitration duties with regard to clients and the Exmoor Farmers office setup including IT matters together with management of the office and market utilities.

Tracy Parker
Accounts Manager

Tracy has headed up the market and accounts office department for many years and principally handles the sale ring administration and accounts, customer accounts and liason at both Cutcombe and Blackmoor Gate, most often seen in the rostrum during the sales and proving all backup administration and IT duties after the sale day as well.


The Market Staff

An experienced group of staff who can be found mostly farming for the remainder of their week, they all manage the sale day operation of receiving stock, sorting and penning as well as the during the sale system of bringing livestock through the ring and penning and assisting buyers with loading after the sale.

Exmoor Farmers Livestock Auctions are a multi-disciplined farmer-owned business providing a full range of land agency services for clients throughout Exmoor and the adjoining districts.

Work will include:

  • Valuations for probate, IHT planning, sales etc.
  • Property letting and management including FBT and grazing licences.
  • Diversification, subsidies and grants.
  • Property sales.
  • Compulsory purchase.
  • Auctioneering at our two livestock markets and other sales.

Excellent communication skills required, ability to work as an individual and part of the team, being ambitious, self-motivated and conscientious with high standards. Clean, full driving licence required. Competitive salary.
